Expressing special thanks for the accord, Rama appealed to several states to help Albania at this moment and show Albanians not alone.
For several days, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj has been conducting extremely intensive telephone communication with his EU countries' counterparts over the post-draft situation in Albania and joint actions in the work of restoring full normality in the country, under the state of emergency, after the November 26th earthquake hit.
During these calls, Cakaj received support for the complete reconstruction of spaces affected by the earthquake and full care of those affected by it.
Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama expressed his gratitude for Cakaj's tremendous work at the moment Albania is going through expressing itself: “perception if I forget without mentioning anyone, without thanking them for helping Albania. But I have on my side here, my “Hyme”, which does my job and that in these difficult moments that we're going through he doesn't forget anyone. He is a strong and stubborn Albanian of Kosovo”.
