The quake dropped at 2:17 a.m., and the stadium was located at 57 miles [57 km] from the town of Hashtrud in eastern Azerbaijan's Provinca, state television reports in Iran.
According to reports released so far, three small villages in the area have reportedly been destroyed. Emergency and Half-Nage teams are on the ground.
We remember that Iran has a huge line between Arab and Eurasian tectonic plates and has experienced many earthquakes in the past.
