The shipment, estimated as high as 87 million worth of roads, addressed a company in Budapest and was discovered by a police dog, police said.
The presence of heavy drugs, which was deemed suspicious in Kopper after the scan, was discovered by a police dog.
Police found 1,421 packs of heroin or 730kg, the largest amount ever seized in Slovenia.
Slovenian authorities announced their Hungarian counterparts and later found that a criminal group from Hungary had organised the shipment of drugs from Iran, which was destined for a Hungarian company.
