LDK deputy chairman Vjosa Osmani said today that the future government will no longer invest Kosovo budget funds on new highways, but will invest in increasing the employment of Kosovo youth and women.
She made these comments today during a meeting with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Mattia Romani, Director of Economics, Politics and Governance, Oleg Levitti, Deputy Director of Government and Political Affairs and Neil Taylor, head of the Office in Kosovo.
Osmani announced EURZH representatives on LDK development priorities included in the joint government programme LDK-LVV with a special focus on investments in human capital through health, education and the private sector.
“We will no longer invest Kosovo budget funds in new highways, but we will invest in the potential of our citizens, especially in increasing youth employment and Kosovo women”, Osmani said.
EURZH representatives present their current projects in Kosovo in the private and public sector, pledging to deepen co-operation with the future Government, especially in infrastructure, energy and private sector development.
