Unintelligiblely, he called Serbia's membership in the European Union a failed political project. [ The EU] in 2025. But, he voiced confidence that such a failure would be of the most importance on Kosovo.
In his writing, he severely attacks EU policy in relation to Kosovo, implying that he served with corruption and high crime in our country. However, Mr. Surroi does not tire of arguing about such an attitude.
“This demonstrated that early Catherine Ashton, the former chief of European diplomacy, who in 2010, when industrial theft of votes was recorded in Kosovo, sent a letter in which the emphasis was not on vote theft but on the beginning of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. So, something like “you guys choose that job by vote, but on Monday I want you at my table to start the dialog”.
Actually, Mr. Surroi at this point is not correct with top European Union officials, who at the time, as in any election process, committed themselves to having fewer electoral irregularities. Kosovo on four sides of the last elections, writes Periscopi, has marked real election processes and welcomed by international factors.
But, Surroi wants to establish a new political idea, a new political project, where Western Balkan countries could live together to ensure the four freedoms [of goods, services, capital and persons].
And when we are in the region, this is one of the fundamental points of the framework that may be developing: if Western Balkan countries want to enter the EU because of four freedoms (freedom of goods, services, capital and persons), then why can't these four freedoms determine earlier in the space where they live themselves? Surroi.
