Meeting of Western Balkan Leaders in Ohrid Begins

Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama has posted photos from the first session of the Ohrid meeting.
He has written that the meeting is being held for accelerating implementation of agreements on the four freedoms of the European Union in the Western Balkans region, such as freedom of movement of people, goods, services and capital.
Northern Macedonia Prime Minister Zoran Zaev along with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers Chairman Denis Zvizdzic and Montenegrin Economy Minister Dragica Sekuliq will present the declaration with a list of priorities and measures to improve regional co-operation.
After the meeting will follow the plenary session of Western Balkan leaders with representatives of international organisations and institutions, among them the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Regional Council for Co-operation, the European Commission, the World Bank and the European Investment Bank. The press conference of Western Balkan leaders has also been warned after the work meetings.
