Otherwise, the MBPZR alone in the past year has supported through direct payments to 6623 farmers with 2.6m euros for the development of the periphery sector and for existing orchards it has allocated 1.8m euros to 4896 per beneficiary. Meanwhile, 244 growers of herbs and spices have been supported through direct payments worth 277 thousand euros. In addition, MBPZR has supported the livestock sector, where through direct payments worth 4m euros has supported 7595 applicant farmers for milk cows. And this sector during 2018 has also been supported by direct payment for milk according to quality categories worth 1.8m euros.
