Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has reacted Following the Supreme Court ruling, which rejected complaints about recognition of votes from Serbia.
In the response that the Initiative has issued to the FBR, it reads:
The Supreme Court's decision is a victory of legitimacy. This decision like that PZAP defended the integrity of elections violated by illegal acts.
The Supreme Court and PZAP with these decisions showed that the legal state here functions and the institutions of this legal state are officers in defense of law and democracy in Kosovo, and that they have high professional and state integrity and did not allow any outside interference, but strictly turned legitimacy into this process, which was seriously challenged by irresponsible people, who for their benefit were willing to undermine the most important process in a legal state, such as free elections.
We as initiatives are proud to raise our voices and engage vigorously in all our capacity not to allow individuals assigned through smuggling to distort the will of Kosovo citizens, expressed in the 6 October elections.
We strongly believe that our commitment as a party, which brought these two decisions, is victory for Kosovo and that these decisions will forever serve Kosovo and future elections.
After that decision on two steps, it is never possible for irresponsible persons to rob and distort the will of citizens illegally, as they have attempted this line.
Today, Kosovo has won all those who want to see a functioning, legal and democratic state, who does not make dirty compromises, against the law and therefore against the rule of law.
So, I take the chance that on behalf of the Initiative and the coalition partners, and with more than 42 thousand voters of our coalition, I express my highest gratitude, respect and consideration of all professional judges who have made this decision twice.
Be convinced that we all feel more confident about your professionalism and professional integrity in this matter.
Congratulations to all members of our Initiative and Coalition!
