The mayor of this municipality, Central Kastrati, said the decision was made against their small budget, Klan Kosova reports.
He has also announced that they have established the headquarters for solidarity to collect aid and send to Albania.
Here's the whole Kastrati post:
Despite the small budget we have, the Kamenica municipality has allocated 2,000 euros to help Albania's citizens.
In addition, I have decided to establish the staff for solidarity, which will lead the action to collect humanitarian aid and send them to the Republic of Albania.
We call on all those who can and want to solidify, especially municipality businesses to offer financial assistance, food packages and other materials (robes, blankets), to bring them to the Kamenica municipality facility from 0800 to 1600.
