The group was in Iraq as part of an international mission of mentoring and training, which is helping local forces that are fighting the militant Islamic State group, the military said.
The military did not say where the incident took place, but the Adn Cronos news agency said the attack occurred near the northern Iraqi town of Kerkuk, Reuters writes.
