Italian Ambassador to Serbia Carlo Lo Cascio has said it is important that Kosovo and Serbia return to the negotiating table as soon as possible.
“We expect the new government in Pristina to start operating in a spirit of dialogue as soon as it takes office, starting with the removal of the tax. We are sure that Belgrade, on the other hand, will be able to contribute constructively to the resumption of dialogue”, he said in an interview for the Serbian newspaper “Blic”, the Kosovo broadcasts.
Italian diplomat in Belgrade once welcomed the initiative of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and the prime ministers of northern Macedonia and Albania, Zoran Zaev and Edi Rama for “Myni ledgenin”.
“We are following with interest and attention the initiative President Aleksandar Vuciq started with Zaev and Rama in Novi Sad. We are convinced that better co-operation between countries and regions is a prerequisite for overcoming past issues and establishing common goals and interests, with the aim of improving conditions and lives of citizens”, he added, broadcasts the Kosovo Clan.
