Hisen Berisha, the prominent commander of the Kosovo war, simultaneously senior superior in the Kosovo Security Force, the Special Court's invitation sent to the president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Kadri Veselin, is assessing political and compromiser.
Berisha, who in the 6 October elections was a candidate for deputy in the PDK ranks, in an interview for Economy Online, says the Special Court invited Kadri Veselini at a critical moment for the country, however ensures that he, but also all others invited will respond to justice under any circumstances. The former Kosovo commander of all the Special Court's assumptions is considering as prepared files in Belgrade, but their workers in Kosovo as well. You believe that righteousness will reveal the truth.
“is called the person who led intelligent service into war, until 2008 when the political terrain was created to declare independence. The person who, with his statements to this day, has never pointed his finger at someone with hostile language or who produced conflict. So he has been trying to preserve unity on behalf of a larger cause that is the state of Kosovo. And the tendency to identify with alleged deeds and files prepared in Belgrade, or with their workers around Kosovo, is not fair”. “I am confident that justice will reveal, those who have individual responsibilities will carry them, those who have committed actual acts let them face their consequences, but it is not fair to label a movement like the NLA was and war”, he says.
Hyseni wants this court's status reviewed, as he considers deterioration impossible. It also provides an idea for the legality of this Court to be proven by the Constitutional Court of Kosovo.
Therefore, I think that with the institution's constitutionalisation, the status of this court, which we have created itself, and we have the right to reconsider. It should even be sent to the Constitutional Court to see how much is in harmony with constitutional standards regulating legitimacy and justice in our country”.
It's not easy, because it conflicts with the policies you harmonised with our partners. But reviewing their position and judicial status is possible, only to have to exist will. I think this should happen in the future”, he says.
