Haxhiu has told of the common points discussed and about the post of president, what has been talked about in the last few days.

Albulen Haxhiu, during this interview, has also responded to Vjosa Osman of LDK about the prime minister's post and other positions in Government.

Total interview:

Periscope: Mrs. Haxhiu, it was reported that the agreement between Vetevendosje and the Democratic League of Kosovo will be finalised on Tuesday of next week. How close are these two parties to the coalition, and when is the formation of the new government expected to take place?

Haxhiu AlbulenIt's speculation, of course, because there's nothing confirmed. We'll make it public just as we've been doing over the course of these days for each meeting of the working groups. We have already done our job and remain to the leaders of parties to meet and finalise the issue. This cannot be possible Tuesday to sign and finalise the coalition. We as Vetevendosje are committed to reaching this agreement as soon as possible, Haxhiu stressed. We had the last meeting of the working group yesterday. As for the governing programme, there are two more cases left to finalize. It's not that there has been opposition, but that requires details about how we will become with new governance. As for the division of ministries, it is expected that soon party leaders will gather, but not before Tuesday because this is impossible during these days because of our commitments.

Periscope: LDK's candidate for prime minister, Vjosa Osmani, said they would not mind convincing Vetevendosje Movement that the president will have the LDK. How do you comment?

Haxhiu Albulen: I don't think this issue has even been in the competence of the processing group, nor has the LDK officially and formally made that proposal. I can't judge what Vetevendosje's position will be as long as we don't have such a request. However, at future meetings it will be a topic of discussion, not to say that specifically, but to other positions. But VV has never discussed this issue, not even at working group meetings. What the LDK has spoken publicly cannot be after this statement to gather and talk, since they have never addressed our meetings. But no one can speak for Vetevendosje. For us it is important that the agreement be reached, but of course we can't establish conditions neither we nor they.

Periscope: Is there a point of discussion that there are disagreements between the VV and LDK?

Haxhiu Albulen: As far as the government program was concerned, there were no issues we disagreed about. There have been discussions on a matter on justice and some topics about economics and social issues, but no disagreements. Just because we've asked for more clarification and we've had different opinions, but that doesn't mean we have disagreements, because we're going to sit down and we're going to address them again. On other issues, there was no discussion. We have agreed to have 12 ministries, no more than 27 ministers, and now we are very optimistic and I hope that this positive spirit will be conveyed.

Periscope: LDK's Vjosa Osmani has also said the prime minister's position is equivalent to four ministries. Is this a warning to VVH that they belong to more ministries?

Haxhiu Albulen: I don't think that's the subject of television debates. I think it's an unfair approach. As for the candidate for prime minister, the citizen of the Republic of Kosovo has already spoken in the 6 October elections. In that sense, none of us can violate the will of the citizens. We've had an effort before the elections to get together and that's not possible. Therefore, they must respect the will of the people, and the position of prime minister will not be placed on the scales.
