Germany's Ambassador to Pristina, Christian Heldt, has called on Kosovo youth to focus more on professional training, as this ensures a more stable future for Kosovo.
German diplomat in Certificate of project participants from “Options Searcher” and “The task practice scheme in the Minority Sale Sector”, said not all should focus on the academic level and that new employment opportunities must be created to bring investors to Kosovo.
There's a lack of skills here, so there's no labor force with certain skills. This is a phenomenon, which we've seen is an opportunity that can arise in the discovery of wrestlers. There are some areas that have tremendous needs but that need to be identified. Like. Many young people do not know what they will do after completing their schooling. Professional schools should take their part, meet their share in this double part that we have brought to Kosovo so that these young people have a stable future in Kosovo. It is also about thinking once again about whether the thought that we should anyway work a desk job with white bed”, he said.
From the GIZ organisation, which supported this project, Julia Becker said that young people should discover opportunities in the labour market, but must create conditions, as he added that this project would provide opportunities for them to understand their job advantages.
This discovery of opportunity provides you with the most informed way to understand your advantages and what is required in the labour market. Adding to what I've seen, when I was preparing this research with the Z generation regarding the discovery of possibilities, the Z generations were those who were born after 1999, where most of you have fundamental values that are activism and equality, and I see all of this before you”, Becker said.
QAP student and the participation of researchers and wrestlers Festina Musliu expressed satisfaction with the implementation of this project.
“I very much hope that this activity will continue in future generations not only to us or even to other schools. This activity has helped me a lot, and it has motivated me to have a better career”, Musliu said.
In addition to this project, German GISIA is supporting Kosovo in several other projects dealing with the development of education.
