Ferizaj allocates 10,000 euros for earthquake-affected areas in Albania

The hearing started with a minute of silence dedicated to the victims who caused the earthquake days ago in Albania. With Ferizaj Mayor Agim Aliu's proposal, a new agenda point was introduced, which concerns financial assistance of 10,000 euros for residents of earthquake-affected areas in Albania.

According to the municipality's announcement, the argument of this point was made by Finance Director Sebahate Ajeti Sadiku, who said that with the authorisation of the mayor of the municipality and the approval of the Parliament, despite the budgetary difficulties Ferizaj Commission has, in sign of solidarity with residents of areas affected by the earthquake, 10,000 euros are earmarked as continuation of the support Ferizaj Commission has provided for this purpose, helping, organised and directly supported various municipal groups.

The other topic that had numerous discussions among the members of the Assembly was also the Commission's report on road appointment and Square appointment. The Assembly delegates gave the remarks, their suggestions and proposals pertaining to this document, whose clarifications were given to the chairman of this commission, Faik Selmani, and after which it was approved by the majority of votes of all members, this report including the establishment of the names of both witness of the Nation, Ahmet Hoxha and Ramadan Rexhepi, as the two squares.

The other points discussed and approved by the members of the Assembly were the decision on the distribution of wood, the replacement of KSF's representative to the Municipal Council for Community Security, the decision to approve the Municipal Plan for Re-Integration of repatriated persons, the decision on the adoption of the Tax in the Albanian Property in 2020, as well as the decision on approval of the communication and transfer of means from the economic category and wages.
