This day is known as indeed as the age of the screen, in which we are almost forced to spend every day among smartphones, computers and tablets. We also share these technological tools with our children, even to the baby stage.
However, a new study has shown that these screens cause structural changes in the minds of pre-school children, especially in sections associated with languages and other literacy skills.

According to an article published in Science Daily, the study was based on MRI scans of 47 healthy children between the ages of 3 and 5. Although the study did not reveal exactly how the time of the screen affects the brain, it showed that children who spent more time on the screen had lower structural integrity than the rest of the children.

“The study asks whether at least certain aspects of early childhood-based display use can provide subnoptal stimulus during this rapid, brain developmental state of”Said Dr. John Hutton, director of “Reading & Literature Discovery” at the children's hospital “Cinnati” and lead study author: “whereas we cannot yet determine whether the time of the screen causes these structural changes or implies long-term neuro-developive risks, these results require further research to understand what they understand and how to set the right limits in using technology. ”
