According to a study published in the magazine “Development and Psychopathology”, hugs have a positive effect on the molecular level.
The outside environment and the bond with parents affect children's mental development.
An environment may change some of the negative effects that have occurred in pregnancy on the development of children.
The study was done with baby skin samples, which were used for DNA methylisation and gene generation tests.
The baby's condition was also significantly linked to a key component, representing 11.9% of the changes in DNA metivating the gene.
These effects were more evident when they compared children with a secure style toward a disorganized form of contact with their parents and more pronounced on their mothers.
This study provides evidence that the bond of infants can regulate some of the early negative effects on baby behavior.
