CEC Chairman Valdete Daka has said that for the PZAP's decision to recount 1472 seats, no complaint has gone to the Supreme Court, and, as a result, will be continued.
We have accepted two election panel decisions. With a decision we have been forced to recount a certain number of boxes and as far as I have information from the Supreme Court, so far no one has complained and this decision becomes powerful and we are obliged to recount these boxes”, Dhaka said at the CEC meeting.
Meanwhile, Ilir Gashi, member The PDK in the CEC has said the recount process should continue.
I think we're not here yet at the time when we should give them away. The QNR to continue counting. As far as we know today, the decision has been made to parties, and 24 hours have not been made. We don't even have PZAP information when this deadline begins, when copies of the decision were publicly distributed to those who complained. I wanted us not to be hasty about the fact that they are still within the legal deadline”, Gashi said.
Enis Halimi, from the CEC Secretariat, has said they are awaiting the CEC's command to proceed with recounting boxes in question.
“Secretariate will increase its capacity to function the efficiency of the recount deadline. All preparations are being made and awaiting command from the CEC in order to proceed. Unlike past times since there are large numbers and we are under pressure to extend this timeline, we have increased capacities. We also assure you these recounts will take place after the legal deadlines --” are consumed, Gashi said.
Nazlie Bala, a member of the VV in the CEC, has asked QNR co-ordinator to add the number of tables “because there is space”, while also asking for capacity to increase for the third shift as far as this recounting “so that we can be”.
Halimi, meanwhile, has responded to Bala, saying the third shift is considered to affect the efficiency of the job.
The third construction in the past has not significantly increased the efficiency of our work. The accuracy, the sensitivity of the work in recounting and the third shift, we've considered that they don't compete with each other. So maybe we're going to have to work on two slightly longer” shifts, Halimi said.
In the end, the CEC chairwoman said that regarding the next decision (for the removal of votes from Serbia), there are already some complaints.
We're waiting to see if there's complaints in the Supreme Court and then, if the screech, we start tomorrow with the recount. However, it would have been good for the QNR to start with preparations for each case”, Daka stressed.
