The National Prosecutor's Co-ordinator for Kosovo Elections, Laura Pula, suggested that criminal procedure for those who have violated the rules for elections would be initiated following the certificate of elections to be made by the Central Election Commission.
“We are awaiting criminal charges from both the CEC and PZAP, to then continue our pre-procedure procedures with the penal procedure code. But we have taken some of our concrete actions with the self-intensives that we have recorded, and some cases we have under investigation”, she said in an interview for RTK.
She suggested that so far there are 14 charges against 18 persons for criminal acts. “These charges are set up in all Kosovo prosecutors, dealing with obstruction at the polls like: The vote's position, preventing free voter definition”, she said.
For votes coming from Serbia, the National Prosecutor's Co-ordinator for Kosovo elections, Laura Pula, has estimated that this is the case contaminated envelopes and that the investigation is under way. For the count of votes coming from Serbia and that those who have counted are wearing special issues, according to her is done at the request of the secretariat. She suggested that the samples tests were sent to an external institute, but did not suggest the state, since the investigation is under way.
