The Central Election Commission has accepted the Election Panel's decisions on Ances and Parases over complaints filed in the institution in final results announced by the CEC on 7 November.
This has been announced today by Valmir Elez, the CEC's spokesman at a news conference.
He said the Central Election Commission will act in accordance with decisions that impose this institution.
This is where I have two decisions involving the exception from the result of a piece of balloting and the recount of 1472 locations. In these decisions there are legal advice that allows for complaint against such decisions in the Supreme Court. Therefore, the Central Election Commission is obliged to respect this legal deadline before proceeding further. The Central Election Commission will act as it has done so far, so in line with decisions binding on the CEC”, Elez said.
The Electoral Panel for Ances and Parashtres -- PZAP -- has decided on all complaints filed by political subjects and MPs who were submitted following the announcement of final election results by the Central Election Commission.
PZAP 53 complaints have been admitted based on them over 52 complaints the panel has decided to order the CEC to recount 1472 seats. As regards the complaint filed by the Coalition Initiative AKR HINA DP, it has decided to accept a complaint based on complaint and ordered The CEC, to draw away from the final election outcome of voters outside Kosovo coming from Serbia.
23 complaints have been filed against inefficiency and illegality, 25 complaints have been denied groundless, and 1 complaint has been filed.
