Bobbie Sokoli: The location of the stadium should not be changed

The last few days have become a big fuss as far as the location of the National Stadium of the national Kosovo stadium has been located, after LDK senior official Lumir Abdijxhiku has said there is an agreement within the party for the stadium to be moved from the town of Drensa to the vicinity of Pristina, Brrnica. As for this matter [...]
As for this issue for Kosovo Press has also spoken to prominent Kosovo coach Bobbie Sokoli.
Sokoli said that a year ago he gave his idea about the national stadium. According to him since then, Kosovo has had to have two stadiums for international matches.
I talked about the new stadium being built a year ago. I said that Kosovo should be regulated and maintained two stadiums for international matches, that of Adem Jashar in Mitrovica and that “Fadil Vokri” in Pristina. The cost of building and maintenance of the new stadium is very high, so it is better to build 7-8 stadiums with 5-6,000 viewers in Kosovo's” centres, Sokoli said at first.
As far as the stadium's location is concerned, Sokoli said it is not necessary to change location for political reasons, as the country he is assigned meets all criteria.
If the new stadium is set to be built then the location should not be changed for political reasons. The location where it is located meets all the necessary criteria for a national stadium where international matches” were to take place, Sokoli concluded.
We remember that the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports had reacted to this issue days ago.
