The mayor, Agim Bahtiri, said the decision has been made in order that no matter how little to help these residents, who have faced severe earthquake quakes today.
“Despite modest opportunities, we have decided that the citizens of Albania will help with a financial assistance, so that we may very little help in coping with the created” situation, Bahtiri said.
Also, President Bahtiri expresses his heartfelt condolences to the victims' families, and all the injured desire rapid recovery. He has called for the preservation of tranquillity, hoping that this will not be repeated.
