On Friday, ahead of the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee, the former American ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, has started witnessing.
During the opening word, it has rejected some of the charges made in its direction. She said statements are false that she told unidentified embassy or Ukrainian officials that President Trump's orders should be ignored because “ai would be blamed” or for some other reason.
I wouldn't say that. Such statements would be contrary to my training as Foreign Service Officer and my role as Ambassador”, she said.
She further stressed that Rudy Giuliani, the president's personal lawyer and associates led against her “a dezinformation campaign. She added that “these events should all disturb this room”.
While the former ambassador was giving her testimony, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, wrote on the social Twitter network, that wherever she went during her career “has become bad”.
