Albania's Youth Network, Albanian Students Strengthened in Turkey

The Ministry of Diaspore and Strategic Investments realised the “Development and Strengthening of Youth Networks and Students in Turkey”. Meetings were held in the city of Istanbul with representatives of the Albanian Youth League of this city. At these meetings, which was attended by the chairman of the Union for Istanbul, Annie Balkan, was discussed expanding the link to other cities in Turkey, strengthening it and concreteising various youth-related projects.

MDIS representatives also had meetings with young people and members of the Albanian Youth League in Bursa. There she was received by the head of youth for the Stock Exchange, Mrs. Nergis Morana, from whom the Albanian Youth League was soon announced. Even at this meeting, further strengthening and cooperation with MDIS was discussed.

Significantly, at the meeting with Albanian youth in Bursa was the former head of the town of Bursa, Mr. Rexhep Altepe, who promised he would provide support to young people operating in this city.

Meetings were also held by representatives of the cultural association “Zafer”, which is known for its activities not only in Bursa but also wider.
