Albania's children involved in crime: 1400 cases starting year

Over 1400 minors have been involved in criminal acts with risks from January to September of this year. State Police Director Ardi Veliu said to the Security Commission that 900 of these persons have remained and that themselves have been damaged by the criminal acts of theft, willful injury, destruction of property, or deportation.
The chief policeman said that within nine months there are increasing criminal acts and increasing the number of murders while disturbing domestic crimes, with 14 murders counted this year, 4 more than last year, with 17 victims.
The security commission included Interior Minister Sander Llesey, who ranked some of the priorities regarding the 2020 budget.
The box identified corruption in the police ranks, where 50 effective have been arrested after having been found conducting corruption acts.
During budget discussions, Minister Lishaj urged increased funds for increased capacities and investments in police institutions, but excluding wages of the effective.
