This message was written by a young girl who had suffered from leukemia and who unfortunately lost her battle with this disease.
Witness Kelmendi, only 15 years ago you were diagnosed with mountain disease. But with force and will every day he fought leukemia. Unfortunately, the battle with this disease, she lost it a few years ago.
But she will always be remembered. Her words are inscribed on the wall of the Hemato-oncology pavilion at the Pediatric Clinic at QKUKU.
In rooms along this corridor, there are dozens of other children who have left the fate of their lives to our doctors.
According to the doctors of this department, 38 new cases of children affected by malaria have been diagnosed throughout the entire year in the Hematology Department, Leuchemia, and Oncology at the QKUK's Clinic.
He gave that fact to Gazeta Express, director of this department Violet Greisqevci. She has said that some of these cases have referred to online treatment abroad in Kosovo without equipment or adequate medications for treating these diseases.
This year's “in the Hemato-Oncology Department has reported 38 new cases of malaria disease. Most of the cases have been handled in our department, but there are cases that have been instructed for treatment abroad”, Garyqevci Express reported.
Unfortunately, only within this year, four Kosovo children have not been able to win the battle with cancer.
“As regards cases that have not survived are only 4 cases”, says the director of the KKKK's Hemato-Oncology Department.
Of the 50 to 55 cases reported at this clinic, about 25 have leukemia.
Yet, over the past year 51 new cases have been announced.
Otherwise, over 4 thousand people from 2017 to now are estimated to have been affected with cancer in Kosovo. The cause of this disease is said to be different until it requires that citizens be healthy and physical.
Research is said to be 14 million new cases of cancer in the world each year until forecasting the number of cancer cases to 21.7 million by 2030.
