In a statement, Istanbul Mayor stressed that air traffic returned to normal after the break at 6:39 local time due to heavy fog at the International Airport “Sabiha Gockchen” of Istanbul, on the Asian side.
Poor visibility caused difficulties for drivers, especially on the city's TEM and D100 highways.
