Doctors recommend more care for a healthy life without alcohol and tobacco and closer to nature.
Malnutrition of blood, just as worldwide, there are breeding trends in Albania. Some 450 people with blood cancer, including all kinds of leukemia, miemos, and mountain lymphomas, are diagnosed each year.
More often, these diseases meet in middle age, but even youths are not exempt from danger. Hematologist Arben Ivanaj says there is no specific cause for blood cancer. External factors, influential in showing these pathology, are mainly linked to chemicals or air pollution.
At the Albanian Association of Hematology Congress, Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu promised that the first red marrow transplant would be performed next year.
