There's been a serious robbery in Podujevo. 148 passports of 3 thousand and 900 euros have been robbed at the Automotive Equipment Centre.
The institution that operates under interior ministry competencies has been stolen last Saturday on 21 October. In case one person is in custody for 30 days.
The location of the Centre for Documents and the Centre for Auto Recording in Podujevo have been broken and stolen last week. From there 148 passports have been stolen, while at the point of selling Kosovo Posttel, located inside the facility, 3900 euros have been stolen, as well as telephone fillings.
Kosovo police in Poduje stated about RTK that in connection with the case, one person has been arrested, and on the prosecutor's order the suspect has been pronounced 30-day detention measures.
The Interior Ministry in written response confirmed Saturday's theft. The ministry said it was seized with 148 passports, public television reports. But officials of this ministry said all precautions have been taken in case passports are tried to be misused, announcing all necessary organs.
Meanwhile, applicants will be equipped with their passports without additional charge. Security of this facility was made by a private contracted company, and from there the shift guard was suspended.
