Students about 14 years of age tried to uncover the wax melting point using Bunsen burners, when remains from an earlier experiment were set on fire and produced sulfur smoke.
A police spokesman stated that 10 students were injured, while two teachers needed hospital treatment. No criminal charges have been established.
