Wessel promises 300 new nests and a thousand euros for each third birth

The candidate for prime minister from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Kadri Veselin, has visited a nursery in the capital during the day, pledging that 300 new nests will be built throughout the country during his rule.

From there, Wessel said his focus is the introduction of children between the ages of 0 and 6 in pre-school education.

Also, the head of The PDK also spoke of raising households, promising to stimulate childbearing, where it said families would receive a thousand euros for the third child.

My biggest “Fokus is to become almost mandatory introduction from 0 to 6. I've seen the construction of 300 nests, which will be precisely to this end. Then as conservative orientation, my party and I family play an extraordinary role. The strengthening of the family, we will stimulate with our policies the birth of the third child by 1000 euros, the birth of the fourth child by a thousand and 500 euros. As long as families with three children then have 30 per cent credit subsidies per cent for three children, four children from now have their credit subsidies by up to 50 per cent. Construction and purchase of residences, as well as the third child, from the fourth child 30 per cent, respectively, purchase of residences or building houses. Our orientation is raising our family and preparing our children to be equal to European children, because even competition, the environment we live in is European, and competition must be European”, he said.

On the other hand, the director of this garden, Gezim Rexhepi Colak, said the biggest challenge facing them during their work is the break of leukemia.

She from Wessel demanded that a solution be found in order to ease the business and also enable women to raise their families.

I have a total of 74 people employed and 74 people go through the birth process and I automatically listen when there's a pregnancy, when it's born and when it needs to come back. It's a very big challenge, I've spoken many times where I should have, but I feel like this subject is just spent on me and I don't know if it's worth talking about anymore. It seems to me that with the right person at the right time and with the right people, I'm discussing that there's really something that needs to be done to help women when they're old enough to raise their family, but also businesses that employ them. Otherwise, their age could be discriminated against during the process of interviewing or hiring”, she said.

The country's president for prime minister pledged he would be in favour of strengthening private nests.

We have to empower you, at the same time we create a huge space for women, that the introduction of the pre-school system and gardens even earlier, not just pre-schoolers but gardens that are from the age of 0-6 that we're thinking of doing about 300 in Kosovo. I'm going to give women a lot of room to be able then to have activities both in employment and entrepreneurship so that they're not directly dependent solely on the family situation, that when you have your children to grow up and when you don't have where you send them, it's not easy”, he said.
