Four days after falling into the ring unconsciously in the super middleweight mass, Patrick Day, former champion of “Golden Doreza”, died Wednesday at the age of 27.
Day has been in a coma since Saturday night, since his opponent, Charles Connell, launched several powerful hits in the last round, Periscope reports.
His death was confirmed by Lou DiBella, the promoter of both boxers.
