When Tesla discovered Model Y, it was announced that the production of the series would begin in autumn 2020, but now the start date of production has shifted to next summer.
“Installation of model Y production equipment is under way before next year's scheduled start. We are moving faster than originally planned, the company said.
The production of the new electric crosser will initially take place in the fifth assembly line at a car factory in Fremont, California. Later, the Y Model will also be produced in Shanghai, China, broadcast Kosovas Prees.
In addition to announcing that Model Y would arrive earlier, the American manufacturer said it had revenues of $6.3 billion in the third quarter of 2019. Furthermore, Tesla has announced that the production of Model 3 has started in “Gigafabrica 3”
The company also claims it is in the final stages of the country's selection process for a major new plant in Europe.
The factory, which will start operating in 2021, will join factories in Fremont and Shanghai in producing Model 3 and Model Y.
