Sales of smartphones left in the country in the last two years while people have grown tired of buying new phones every year.
But according to a new report from Strategy Analytics, global sales of smartphones increased by 2% in the last three months compared to a year ago.
The sales stood at 359.8 million units worldwide in the third quarter of 2018 as they went to 366.3 million units in the third month of 2019.
Strategy Analytics It attributes this increase to lower prices and larger screens along with the 5G goalivity.
Growth this period came thanks to Samsung and Huawei. The first marked growth by 8%, while the second was 29% compared to a year ago.
Samsung took advantage of Galaxy Notte 10 and Huawei from the strongest sales in China triggered by American sanctions. In Apple's case, sales dropped by 3%, but the analytical firm says the company has begun to stabilise performance with the most affordable prices of iPhone 11.
Other brands that are performing well are Xiaomi, Realme and Oppo.
