Smajl Latifi is invited by Special Court

Today I have accepted an invitation to report to The Hague Special Prosecutor's Office.

I have been aware that there is no other way to free the Albanian people except for armed warfare. Zaten, this is the only way to remove captivity to conquered peoples. Obeyed in this view, I have always tried to do my best for my country, without violating the moral values of the Albanian nation, witnessing in war and at peace. I am deeply convinced that no force in the world will ever overcome our righteous liberation war, for on every malicious scenario is the principle of peoples for freedom and national rights. Hence, liberation wars cannot be judged because they contain in themselves the sound principle of humanity and justice. Principles of these embraced and represented by the civilized, advanced nations of the Western world.

I believe in justice and will never hesitate to stand up for the right to freedom and human and national dignity, and I am ready to face any challenge. I remain devoted to building the ideals of the Albanian nation, and there is no force to tear me apart.
