We spend about a third of our lives sleeping or trying to sleep.
And recent studies show that there is a connection between the position in which the mother sleeps and the baby's well-being.
Because of changes in my body, regular sleep positions may not be as safe during pregnancy.
Eating in the womb
If you have slept in your stomach before pregnancy, then you can only sleep in the first few months of pregnancy.
After the first quarter, however, you will simply not be able to lie down in your belly because of the belly.
Sleeping on the Side
This is the safest position for you and the baby.
This position enables blood flow and does not cause pressure on the internal organs.
Although both sides are safe, experts recommend that you sleep on the left side because of the increased blood supply and nutrients that reach the baby.
