Mohammed Salah will be absent Liverpool in front of Manchester United on Sunday, but is expected to be ready for the midweek match against Genku in the Champions League.
The Egyptian was not part of the “Red” team for the Debra match as it was continuing to recover from the damage to the knot, which he suffered before vacation for international matches.
According to coach Jurgen Klopp, Salah was not considering the match at all, but may be available next week.
“Mo was not ready. He didn't train with the team, I don't know where the idea of everybody talking about playing. There was no chance for today, maybe for Wednesday, we should see”, he said about Sky Sports, just before the match with United.
