For ten months, Kosovo streets took 76 people's lives.

The driving of vehicles at high speed and the streets of Kosovo have returned to hell for many.

Kosovo police have announced about news.net that only in September of this year alone, seven people have lost their lives in traffic accidents.

Kosovo Police statistics show that during the month of January-September, compared to last year, fewer people are dead this year.

According to police, in the January-September period of 2018, there have been a total of 69 fatal accidents, where 90 people have died.

At the same time this year, there have been 66 fatal accidents, that is, three fewer and 76 people who have lost their lives for ten months, or 14 less compared to 2018.

General statistics for ten months also show that there have been fewer accidents this year, but more flat tickets.

According to the Kosovo Police, in the January-September period last year there have been 4 thousand and 668 injuries, where 9 thousand and 354 people have remained injured.

At the same time, there were 45,000 and 443 accidents with injuries or 225 less than last year in 2019, while injured persons were left with 8 thousand 625 or 729 less than in 2018, reports the news.net.

Based on these statistics, the total number of accidents between January and September 2018 occurred between 11 thousand and 776 accidents, already this year, that is, in 2019 in the same time period there were 11 thousand and 732 or 44 fewer accidents.

As for the pronounced tickets, Kosovo police have made known about news.net, that this year compared to 2018 there are more flat ticketes.

In 2018 from January to September, Kosovo Police had pronounced 305 thousand and 863 tickets -- already this year for the same period -- have pronounced 321 thousand and 690 tickets or 15 thousand and 827 tickets more.

However, the comparison of September 2018 and this year alone is seen as increasing accidents in general.

Kosovo police have reported on news.net, that in September last year, there were 536 injuries, where about a thousand and four people were left injured, and in September of this year, 40 more accidents occurred, so there are 576 accidents only for the month we just left behind and therefore 1,000 and 26 people have been injured or 16 less than last year.

Meanwhile, the total number of accidents for September alone this year have seen more accidents.

Last year there were a total of 1,000, 269 accidents, and this year 1,000, 379 accidents or 110 more than last year.

Also for September, Kosovo Police this year have pronounced more tickets in traffic. Since last year in September, Kosovo Police had pronounced 31 thousand and 146 tickets this year for September alone has declared 38 thousand 593 or 7 thousand and 447 more tickets.
