Before meeting with Vetevendosje, LDK leadership meets

This meeting of the leaders of the Democratic League comes hours before the same ones hold their first meeting with Vetevendosje to agree to the governing programme.

That LDK and VV will engage working teams to negotiate a possible coalition have confirmed yesterday the candidate for LDK prime minister Vjosa Osmani and VV leader Albin Kurti, following the first meeting they had after the end of extraordinary elections.

The Vetevendosje movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo have agreed to govern together.

After meeting with Kurti, Vjosa Osmani has spoken to the media, saying that it already remains the parties to talk about details.

“We just held the meeting to discuss co-operation after a good process. We've discussed principles on the level. Both parties demonstrated the goodwill of governing together. There are some things we started discussions with, in terms of a government that will be reduced in the number of ministries, but will increase as regards the good work to be done. It is left to parties that are discussed on details”, she has said.

It has not yet been announced by parties how long the first meeting will be held between co-ordination groups.
