For years you've heard of the potential of the RCS, a protocol that replaces the SMS with advanced functions that we are now able to access on apps like the Mesage and the Whatsapp.

But today four leading mobile operators -- AT&T, Sprent, T-Mobile and Verizon -- announced new co-operation “Joint Message Exchange Initiative.” This co-operation will offer a unified experience RCS between companies in the United States and globally.
