Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said today that the United States is trying to review the Brussels Agreement, in the part related to the association of Serb municipalities, in order to pull Kosovo into NATO and preserve its military base there.
In this context, Lavrov recalled that four years ago, an agreement was signed to form the association of Serb municipalities, which is at odds in 23 articles with the Kosovo Constitution.
“Efforts are under way to review it in any way, with US involvement active to develop a situation where Kosovo can withdraw to NATO, along with the largest base of American Europe, Bondsteel”, Lavrov said.
