The aim of organising this forum is to discuss the importance of strengthening regional co-operation of prosecutorial systems, in order to support the investigation and prosecution of serious crimes and cross-border character, then to step up efforts to strengthen institutional and professional capacities through exchange of experiences and increased justice co-operation between Balkan countries and beyond.
Consequently, the delegation from Kosovo has presented at the sessions of this international forum on behalf of the State Chief Office and generally the state prosecutorial system, highlighting the future goals of forming joint investigative teams with representatives of law rule institutions of two or more countries, defining teams for specific criminal acts on the basis of agreements in the states, membership in professional organisations and resolutions and agreements in the countries, these are listed among the main challenges of the non-Kosovo prosecutorial system.
During the forum's work development, a joint declaration of participants will be adopted, by which more commitment is required in relation to demands to various states and the organisation of such working tables with institutions of the rule of law of regional states, which help overcome bilateral challenges.
