Former Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Vuk Jeremic, who already plays the opposition in Serbia, has given today a theory under which Vucinqi will extend life in power if he is to sign recognition of the independence of the Republic of Kosovo.
Jeremic has indicated that in the case Vuciq signed the final agreement with Kosovo then it would be difficult to change power to Serbia.
Jeremic has said that regarding this stance there are differences, and within his party, but says he should not allow the Serbian president to finalise the problem with Kosovo.
“I say that even for practical reasons, we cannot allow Vuciqi to finalise the agreement with Kosovo, as he claims, through the correction of borders”, Jeremic has declared.
According to him, the international community will support current power in Serbia for another few years, if Vuciq is protagonist of a Fianle with Kosovo.
If allowed, it would be very difficult to make changes, until international support for current power continues for several years, as Slobodan Milosevic was supported after signing the Dayton Agreement”, Jeremic said in the end.
