She is a four-fold state champion in gymnastics, even though she has Down syndrome, writes KOHA Ditore. But Chelsea doesn't see her disability as a restriction. She began working on gymnastics to strengthen her muscles because her lower muscle tone is a symptom of her diagnosis.
Knowing how much their daughter loves gymnastics and just arrived for only four years, her parents found her best coach to realize her dreams.
Chelsea was determined to show her talent, so she began to exercise 16 hours a day. Her work and hard work were rewarded and she won four national championships at the special Olympics.
In addition to exercise, Chelsea has become a model. She appeared on the cover of the magazine “Teen Vogue”, took a picture on New York Fashion Week and traveled worldwide.
I always wanted to be in front of the cameras. I also love traveling. My first modeling job was for H&M, and it was done in Havana, Cuba's”, she said proudly.
For many people, now this 22-year-old girl is an example.
I've heard many times from parents of young children that I am their example. If I can help someone and hope in them, it makes me very happy and proud”, she said.
