After the funeral, it was reported that the audience gathered at a restaurant in Vitagen for coffee and cake, the custom after a funeral in Germany, but after eating the cake, 13 people felt bad and asked for medical help, the AP broadcast.
The investigation found that the restaurant employee, responsible for dessert, asked the 18-year-old girl to bake the cake, but she took the wrong cake from the fridge, made for another occasion, and served at the funeral.
Police said the 18-year-old girl was under investigation.
The incident occurred in August, but due to sensitive cases, it has only become known now.
