Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Albin Kurti has met Finland's ambassador to Kosovo, Pia Styernvall, who has congratulated Kurti on the outcome of the extraordinary parliamentary elections, with positive marks on the regular election process, which was monitored by observers of Finland's Embassy in Kosovo.
According to the VV, at this meeting the need for future Government to implement reforms in different sectors of the country, with particular emphasis on the educational system, was discussed.
There was agreement at the meeting that experiences and expertise from Finland's educational system would help reform and quality improvement of the education system of the Republic of Kosovo. Regarding dialogue with Serbia, Mayor Kurti reiterated the Vetevendosje Movement's stance that for the most important dialogue is content, rather than timelines, and three principles to heal the consequences of the wrong preliminary approach: no agreement without dialogue; not dialogue with maps; and, not the presidents of states on map”, it is said in the VV” announcement, the report said.
Finally, Ambassador Sterinwal donated two books on Finland's social innovations to President Kurti as a gift for the election outcome and as an aid to the innovative solution to problems facing the country.
