With the new domain, Google added a feature to quickly create Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites or New Forms simply by pressing doc.naw, sheet.wew, slide.wew, site.wew or form.wew directly into the box for browser addresses. Now the feature has expanded to Google Calendar.
Google also reported to a tweet, that it is possible to write call.new or meetting.new in the browser and let a new calendar event be loaded on a tab.
Use of this shortcut saves time, which will be used earlier to open the Calendar app and introduce a new event.
For those with more than one Google account, the company has added a feature that allows the shortcut to create new events in numerous accounts.
