Turkey's top state officials at President Recep Tayip Erdoğan's chairmanship visited Mustafa Kemal Ataturk's mausoleum “Anıtkabir” in Ankara on the note of the Republic National Festival
The president of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayip Erdoğan, said that his country is ruining the corridor that it wants to deploy along its border with Syria, via operation “Peace Source”, once again the whole world has shown it its determination.

Erdoğan, during Ataturk's mausoleum's visit, was accompanied by Parliament Speaker Mustafa ♫entop, Vice-President Fuat Oktay, CHP party chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, head of the IYI Party, Meral Akşener, senior judicial representative, members of Turkey's Presidency Cabinet, forces commanders and other state officials.
President Erdoğan in the Ataturk mausoleum placed the crown with the moon's motives and was later Intoned national anthem.
At the end of the ceremony, the mausoleum also opened for visits by citizens.
Worldwide, as well as representatives of the country worldwide of various activities today are celebrated as a national holiday.
The official announcement of the Turkish Republic by Ataturk took place on October 29, 1923, when the nation's name and its status as republic were declared.
In a vote later held at the National Assembly, Ataturk, a revolutionary statesman, was elected unanimously president of the Republic of Turkey.
Since then, Turkey annually celebrates Republic/A Day on 29 October.
