When Eqrem Kryeziu held the position of LDK chief and formally also of the Party Chief, someone else was rapidly going up to the head of state and party institutions in Kosovo.
Isa Mustafa was advising Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu, who had frozen the position of LDK chief, for the economy.
Fatmir Sejdiu was declared violator of the Constitution, holding two positions in state and other in the party, while Eqrem Kryeziu left politics.
Isa Mustafa quickly climbed to the head of the Democratic League and took over the position of prime minister. Now, on the other hand, he's also aiming to become Chief of State.
The former mayor of Prizren has shown irony every time he has spoken of Isa Mustaf, saying he has very long experience in politics.
And today, Kryziu has published a document proving that the current LDK chairman, Isa Mustafa, was part of the government of Yusuf Zeinsu. He held an equal position with his minister.
It was the district secretary for development, science, intelligence, and scientific cooperation technical with the world.
Yusuf Zejnulayh's government had sworn before Beftman Morina, who was chairman of the Kosovo Communist League District Committee.
At the Journal Express Committee in 2015, Mustafa had said he was part of the Government of the day, but only as an official for developmental and economic issues, not other topics.
Otherwise, Isa Mustafa has held other positions, during wartime, was part of the Bank of Bujar Bukoshi in Eczil, holding the post of finance minister. He was also head of Pristina after the war. Even part of public enterprise boards, including Pristina University.
Currently, he is chief of the LDK and is leading coalition talks with Vetevendosje. He has competed on two sides in the last election, placing Avdullah Hoti and Vjosa Osman at the top of the list, who managed to launch the first LDK.
