The fight against corruption is a priority of the work of the US Embassy in Tirana. This week, we will explain public definitions of major corruption under Article 7031] of the United States legislation. When the United States teaches that a foreign government official is involved in major corruption, the State Secretary has the authority to announce individuals and members of his immediate family as disqualified forever to enter the United States. ”
The embassy declares that the State Secretary has publicly designated about 100 people worldwide -- 14 of them Albanian -- who are barred from entering the US, among them the Adriatic Lella, Vangush Dako and Tom Doshi.
